On April 25th, 1971, Stars & Stripes photographer, Mike Lance, was sent to the An Lao Valley in the Binh Dinh Province in Vietnam to photograph some of the last operations performed by the 173rd Airborne Brigade, four months before the 173rd departed Vietnam for good. The following are some of his photos.
