CUSTOM SAMS
By: Silent Death

"These pictures show my current collection of six Ultimate Soldier figures. I have done some custom work in these figures as you can notice. I have done a lot of camo painting on their faces and even have dry brushed some of the BDUs to give them a more realistic weathered look. Even the weapons got some paint job and modifications. For the M16, the magazine clips have been painted black. I even made a laser sight for the grenade launcher and attached scopes in a way to make them look like the latest Colt M4 (the smaller scopes are from parts of a butterfly syringe from the hospital - unused of course :). They are not very visible from these pictures but maybe later on I can send you some better shots once I get a better camera. The bigger night scope was from the binocular patterened after some tips of fellow action figure enthusiasts on your site.
The figure sporting the patrol cap also got some modified gloves. What I did here was wrap gauze tape around his hands and painted it green and some shadowing. I also included a shot of him in a diorama, which actually turned out to be quite good, so I'll be doing more shots of this later (but no more diorama making)." -- Silent Death

Nice work there trooper! Your custom soldiers are far too cool. It was hard for me to pick my favorite trooper out of all these figures. I loved that ragtop helmet though. Nice work on the single figure display stand as well. That definitely looks like a great way to display your figures. You did a terrific job on it. Special thanks for sending these in soldier and sharing them with us. Keep up the great work Silent Death. -- GL
