Date: January 4, 2000 Location: Somewhere near the Yugoslavia-Macedonia border The following are photos of an, as of yet unrecognised, Naval Special Warfare Unit operating in support of the NATO bombing campaign. Rumor has it that this unit is a newly created off-shoot of Naval Special Warfare Developement Group, tasked with counter-terror and clandestine operations on a global scale. Their current unofficial designation is: SEAL Team OMEGA. Next to nothing is currently available about unit strength or organization, although they are believed to have a strength of roughly 2 SEAL Platoons (4 Officers, and 12 enlisted men). This unit may have been formed as a reaction to all the current publicity being accorded to both SEAL Team 6 and DevGru. These photos, taken roughly 4 hours after the reduced platoon completed their, as of yet unspecified (More info to follow as it becomes available), mission. It is believed that the platoon encountered a company sized Yugoslave Mechanized Infantry unit as they were making their way to the predetermined extraction site. No further information about their current status is available at this time. |
Awesome work there again Monkey Man! The story was really cool. Definitely some very fine set ups in these photos. All your soldiers look very sharp as well. I can't wait to see what you come up with next. Special thanks for sending these in and sharing them with us. -- GL |
