ITALIAN NUCLEO OPERATIVO CENTRALE DI SICUREZZE (NOCS) ANTI-TERRORIST OPERATOR
By: Minuteman

Introducing Dominic.

I used a British paratrooper figure, and applied epoxy putty for his Spiderman type nomex balaclava that some operators prefer. He is issued with a SEAL protec helmet and a load bearing vest. I added the unit’s insignia, and on the right - an Italian flag. He is armed with an assortment of weapons as it is imperative that NOCS' are trained in all types of duties. Trooper Dominic is a man for all seasons. He has been the first man to bust into a hostile building as well as providing cover for his teamates as a counter-sniper. For entry weapons he uses a TUS Franchi shotgun and a Dragon MP5SD, as well as a TUS H&K PSG-1 with a Nimrod night vision sight for the sniper/counter-sniper role. His sidearm is the Dragon Beretta 92F. For communications, he has a Dragon Bill Smith’s radio and a headset I made from scratch. For CQB training, he wears a hockey mask over his nomex balaclava for extra protection. Also included are reference photos that I used on this project from a Swat magazine.

A brief info on the Italian NOCS: In 1982, U.S. Brigadier General James Dozier was kidnapped by the terrorist organization "The Red Brigade". At 11:30 a.m., the NOCS anti-terrorist team of twelve raided the apartment complex were the General was being held. One had sealed the entrance of a nearby market to prevent innocent people from going into their immediate target. Quickly rushing to where Gen. Dozier was held, one NOCS operator took the terrorist guarding the front door of the apartment by surprise with a karate blow to the head. Upon entry, the other gunman was getting ready to execute the General, when an operator smashed his Berretta SMG into the Tango’s head stopping him cold. The rescue mission was a success, with out even firing a shot. The NOCS are a force to be reckoned with.

My thanks to LT for providing the protec Dragon helmet, and AlphaWolf from an old trade - a Dragon Beretta pistol.
