This is a M151A2 1/4 Ton Recon Vehicle - Circa 1980-1995. It carries the marking for an actual Recon 1/4 ton issued to the 40th Infantry Division, 1/160 Glendale California. It is a complete rebuild to include moving the radio to the drivers side of the jeep so that the recon officer an operate the radio from his right hand seat. The wire cutter has been added to the front bumper so as to allow the vehicle to be operated with the windshield lowered. Both the Trailer and Jeep have been converted to carry auxilliary water and gas cans for long deployments. This vehicle is still in the conversion process and future pictures are sure to follow. |
These pictures are taken in my new
"War Room", or as my wife calls it the "Guest Bedroom". As you can see
quite a few of my troops and a small assortment of their vehicles have
slowly occupied this friendly country to develop a substantial military
presence in a somewhat out of the way "Southern State" :).
We are still in the process of coordinating the movement and deployment of the Heavy Equipment and development of the Air Superiority that our forces maintain. More pictures will follow as the follow on troops and equipment are deployed. |
Excellent, excellent work Gray Ghost 6. I loved every single one of your Rangers and CIA Operatives. Lt. Col. Sizemore is sure one sharp looking figure. I think I've been inspired by him. Outstanding work on that Mutt Vehicle too. I can't wait to see more pics of it. And finally, the War Room is looking awful sharp. I sure do envy that shelf around the top of your room. That's an excellent way to display your figures. Special thanks for sending all these cool projects in and sharing them with us. -- GL |
