CUSTOM CALVARY SCOUT
By: Boogieman

I recently got to see a picture of my Great-Grandfather, who rode the cattle drives from Texas to Montana, and whose brother settled in Montana. So it got me to thinking.....
This is my Calvary scout in Indian country 1870's. The figure is of the "grim-faced" German soldier, some old Hasbro boots, everthing else is parts and pieces of old Marx's toys(which I painted and antiqued). The buckskin shirt is from a old Tonto figure and the 'neckercheef is a scrape from a old bandana. Hope you like it.

Joshua Winters, scout the horizon for signs of Sioux warriors around the Powder River. He grabs up his Army carbine and moves for a closer look.

Joshua gets his field glasses out for a better view, he knows that beyond Crazy Woman creek is Ft. Phil Kearny and between the two is Crazy Horse....

As he peers over some rocks, Joshua's eyes catch view of a horrible sight...

TO BE CONTINUED...

Outstanding work there Boogieman! I'd love to own this figure myself. Nice work on all the detailing. All around great work buddy, I can't wait to see more pics of him! Special thanks for sending him in and sharing him with us. -- GL
