| SGT Tom Corbitt checks his chute one last time before jumping into combat |
| PVT Wilson comes by just in time in a recently liberated Kubelwagen, "Hey Sarge, you wanna ride?" "Heck yeah. I gots a mission to do!" |
| Just as they get ready to move out, SGT Corbitt's objective comes into the open. "Oh no! It's that monster!" Seeing a Jeep approaching from the 505th Infantry, Sarge waves it on ahead and prepares to fight it out. Wilson jumps out with a loaded bazooka, paralyzed with fear. "WHAT'RE YOU WAITING FOR? GO!!!" |
| "OH MY GOSH, what a monster!" cries LT Sparks as they try to race past the German mutant. |
| None of the weapons has any effect! Soon, the monster is upon them, knocking off Wilson's leg. "AAAAAAAAAARRRRG! IT HURTS! Sarge, kill it!" "I can't! My Thompson is jammed!" |

Wilson falls almost immediately. Sarge pulls out a pistol and fires on the
monster in a last-ditch effort to kill it. But the gesture soon proves futile as the shots echo off the living room walls. SGT Corbitt is never seen again... |
