In the fierce battles, war photographers have put their lives on the line to tell the truth. The following photos follow Associated Press photographer M. Lorenz as he captures SEALteam 7 on a rescue mission where Marine Sargent Leon Norton lost a limb and sustained shrapnel wounds to the face after his platoon was lost due to a three day stand off against the Vietcong.
