...It was a cold and snowy dawn, as the sun crept-up sleepily over the horizon, to breathe life into
Marwencol. GL was already up and sitting by the fire place, having a cup of the new girl's, super strong,
coffee :) My girls and I came running out of our bedroom, and we couldn't wait to see what Santa Claus left for us,
under our Christmas tree. Santa left us multi-colored-wrapped-gifts, while the gifts that us town's folk gave to each
other, were wrapped in one kind of wrapping paper; with labels on them. My girls ripped into the gift to them, from GL
like it was nobody's business !! The girls needed new clothes, so GL and his wife back in Hawaii, packed
some things up for Christmas; for my girls :)
I opened GL's gift to me, and I immediately felt wanted, and needed, because he had it custom-painted, with your Squadron's Insignia on the back of it, and my name and rank on the front-side; over my heart. I put it on, and it fit like a glove. The feeling of being a part of a Squadron of Heroes, was going to be evident, in my future adventures in this world :) Deja Thoris opened the gift from me, and I don't know how or why, but I knew she'd always wanted a Kimono.... she thanked me for it. Meanwhile downstairs, Santa had left the misfit GIs , that came wandering into town a few days before, a Magic Sleigh filled with rifles, machine guns, and a Panzerfaust. Respectfully Yours, Cpt.
