The whole area around the tank is covered in smoke

But the smoke doesn't last long before the M2 can escape.

And before the Hind can resume it's attack!

Meanwhile A few Yards from the M2 Scott and James set up their sniping positions.

Scott: "We have got to distract the chopper before it is too late!" James: "Maybe if we fire at the cockpit it would get their attention."
