| This little beauty was used in 2 movies!! The first was the movie "1941" and is the submarine floating behind the house off the coast just as the invasion occurs. The second movie was "Raiders of the Lost Ark" when the sub is headed to the secret hanger/dock-there is a "helicopter" shot of it floating in the water. This is 26' long and was almost cut up for fire wood!! I have it for sale on Craigslist.org if anyone is interested. Please excuse the goof ball sitting with the model...that.. is me! Hope you enjoy! |
| An awesome piece of movie history there old buddy and a very sharp looking model too. Too bad I don't have place to store that thing or I might have had to buy it myself :) Special thanks for sending these cool pictures of it in and sharing them with us. - GL |
