The guys at EBT were generous enough to host another
BBQ and get-together at their shop in Temple City. I
got a chance to meet up with some old friends and see
some really quality work. You might see some familar
pieces, but I wanted to point out some new and
different figures.
The pictures are necessarily in any order, but look out for Minuteman's fantasy, Sci-fi girl figure. Carlo has always done great work in the fantasy area as well as replicas of other military figures. He always seems to be thinking outside the box. I met a fellow named Richard that had a great collection of movie based figures. His "Billy Jack" figure has hand made denim outfit. Also, check out the "Mad Max" and Clint figures. Likewise, Laughygravy had a great collection of western, arab, and FFL figures. All nicely displayed in a handsome carry case. I wanted to make mention also of more and more WWI figures showing up these days. Bear in mind that there is not much off the shelf for WWI, so a lot of the gear and uni sets are custom. Kudos to George and LG for some great Doughboys. Speaking of D-boys, two great repros from "Blackhawk down" I also got a chance to debut my collection of WWII airborne troops. All-in-all another great chance to see what everybody is working on. Also, some great "A-rats" from the EBT guys. Thanks very much, looking forward to the next one. |
