Well troops, the annual San Diego Comic Con has come and gone. Once
again I was drooling over the women...I mean the toys...yeah the toys.
For those of you not familiar with "The Con" as they call it, it is the worlds largest convention of it's kind. Pop Culture at it's best. This year my daughter Emily went dressed as Batgirl. I think she actually thought she could fight crime. The Sideshow Collectibles booth (or area I should say) was one of my highlights due to the fact that they showed the Power Loader from Aliens (Greenleader would like I am sure) and the Rocky figures...which I hope to get all four. The Frodo Baggins and Samwise figures looked great as well. The crowds were insane, The stars were out in big numbers. Jessica Alba, Kevin Bacon, Gene Simmons, Dane Cook, the entire cast of Heroes, Sgt. Slaughter and many many more were walking around the convention floor. (I talked with George "Sulu" Takei). any body from the board attend the con besides me? once again I had a blast, thought I would share the memories with GL's troops as well. One Shot out! |
