| These are all WW2 images. My favorite exhibit detailed the weapons used by the Marine Raiders and ParaMarines. There used to be a Raider Museum in VA but it closed-- happily, a lot of the displays were donated to the Marine museum at Quantico. It was also cool to see an M5 Stuart tank up close and personal. When you see the real deal, you realize how well-done the 21C version was! |
| Wow my friend, that has got to be the coolest museum I have ever seen! Next time I'm in Virginia, no matter how close I am to that museum, I think I'm going to make the journey! Must see stuff at this one for sure. The mannequin sculptures were just outrageous, so cool! Very special thanks for letting us come along on this awesome virtual field trip old buddy. I definitely wouldn't have wanted to miss this one. - GL |
