| Yes, once more I am dispensing wisdom(?) to those who are either seeking to better their skills or totally bored with life. I deliberatly took my time before I did an essay on shingles, as I wanted to make sure I knew what I was talking about before I inflicted it upon y'all. TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE, these efforts will give you shingles that ought to last ten years or better without chemical treatment- if you dose them with Thompson's water seal after the fact, this ought to improve the odds. There is also a means to age the wood, but as the color change you see half-way up the shingles is due to one month's delay in the sun, I doubt I should worry about such a thing. Enjoy! |
