This sniper belongs to Latvias Special Intervention Group (SIG) anti-terrorist force and wears
a special camo suit with hood and flip-down face mask. It also features functional loops all over the outfit to attach local foliage. The sniper is armed with a Snaiperskaya Victoyaka Drugonov (SVD) 7.62mmx54R sniper rifle with detachable PSO-1 see-thru scope /removable cover and eyepiece which I built from scratch using drinking straws, vinyl scraps, and
epoxy putty.
Sniper is also equiped with a bullpup AK47 7.62X39 for medium range work which has removable suppressor and flash hider and can accept the detachable PSO-1 scope. Along with the gear are an AK47 wire cutter bayonet (made from putty) with sheath (made from vinyl) which can be mounted on the SVD rifle, a 9mmx18 Makarov pistol/ detachable suppressor/ spare clip with holster, magazine pouch, and canteen. |
