BATTLE IN THE VILLAGE

The Airborne gather up the dead Germans...

...for a final body count.

The US Airborne forces prepare to take over the village.

And take the survivors as prisoners.

Taking care of OUR boys.

The 82nd Airborne Commander gets information from the German commander.

Then the 82nd Commander passes the information onto his troops.

Now the village has new occupants.

Outstanding work there Junkyard! You and your dad pulled off some of the best WWII photos I've ever seen. Definately raised the bar quite a bit for the rest of us! Your village is just awesome!
