| Not having enough time to return fire, the German behind the MG-34 tries to sneak out of the vehicle pit without the Americans knowing it. As he is almost out, he grabs a stick grenade, but is mortally shot by the dispatch rider. |
| The rider still lays down fire to make sure the infantryman dies. The 29th Infantryman pulls out his Thompson sub-machine gun and continues to shoot the sniper. |
| The last German shouts, "Ich übergeben!" Even though he knows that he will most likely be shot anyway. |
