Well troops I finally had the chance to break out my WWII Grunts. I
really just wanted to take photo's of the various "units" I had put
together. I snapped photo's of my team that is wearing the Beach
pattern Duck Cammo. The second team has the standard Sage green Twill
partly mixed with some darker cammo. and the largest of the groups has
the Jungle Pattern mixed throughout the unit. I'm pretty happy the way
my WWII Marines have turned out. I just wish they had made a better
variety of figures, but between DID, BBI, DML and 21C... I can always
find a few loose pieces here and there to add to my loose parts bin.
Plus isn't half the fun searching for stuff? Now I can't remember
exactly who has the big team off WWII Japs but I sure would love to
add my two guys and have an all out battle. (BC Ries is it?)
I actually ended up taking single photo's of every WWII Pacific soldier I had built up. Maybe I can put together some sort of roll call file or something? With the Weekend of Heroes show coming up (or just passed depending on when these pics get posted) maybe I'll find more loose stuff. All in all I thought you guys might enjoy something different from me than my Nam pics. (which I know a few of you appreciate... go Nam fans!). Big Thanks goes out to GL for taking the time to post my photo submissions, GL always makes me feel great about the photo's I submit. Great site...great troopers who visit the site.
