Mounting the Ultimate Soldier MK-19 Grenade Launcher on the Hasbro LSV

Mounting the MK-19 on the roof top hard point of the desert Light
Strike Vehicle. Remove the weapon platform from the top of the rollcage.
Remove the pivot screw form the bottom of the platform, where the .50
mounts. Remove the .50 cal ammo box/mount from the platform. Now, everyone
familiar with Testor's model glue? Orange and white tube. No, yer not
gonna glue nothin, just listen. Ok, all you need is the cap. The white
plastic cap that is slightly conical. Ok, there is a hole in the center of
the cap where the tube nozzle pushes in to. Cut off the lower edge of the
cap untill it is flush with the lip of this center hole. Now, trim just
about 1/8th of an inch off the top end of the cap. Using a dremel or X-acto
knife, enlarge the center nozzle hole just slightly. Ok, now just push the
cap, top end first, into the collar mount on the weapon platform. Take yer
MK-19, remove it from the tripod, rub a small bit of vaseline on the pintle,
and gently push it into the nozzle hole that is in the center of the glue tube cap, which is
in the collar mount, on the weapon platform. Wordy? Yes. Effective
instructions? You tell me. Sure worked for mine, and boy does it look
nice. Oh yeah, the rather large ammo box will not fit. I am planning to
scratchbuild an ammo feeder tube and remote mounted ammo bin. Enjoy!
